May 27, 2026These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern the text messages you receive from Laser Sharks Abatement Ltd. ("Laser Sharks", "we", "us", "our"). By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive SMS from us — through the consent checkbox on our quote form at lsharks.ca/quote, by texting us first, or by any other written or verbal consent — you agree to these SMS Terms.
These SMS Terms work together with our Privacy Policy at lsharks.ca/privacy-policy.
1. What messages we sendIf you consent to receive SMS from Laser Sharks, you agree to receive Conversational and Informational SMS from us, which may include:
- Replies to questions you asked us by SMS, voicemail, phone, or web form
- Acknowledgement that we received your quote request
- Status updates on your quote or scheduled service
- Appointment confirmations and on-site arrival notices
- Completion notifications and follow-up questions about service quality
We do not send promotional, marketing, or bulk advertising SMS. If we ever wish to do so, we will obtain separate written consent from you first.
2. Message frequencyMessage frequency varies based on your project and our active conversation with you. You should expect approximately 1–5 messages per active inquiry or job, with occasional follow-up messages after the work is complete.
3. Message and data ratesStandard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to each message you send or receive. Laser Sharks does not charge you for SMS we send to you; any charges you incur come from your mobile carrier under the plan you have with them.
4. How to opt out (STOP)You may opt out of receiving SMS from Laser Sharks at any time by replying with the word STOP to any message we send you. After we receive your STOP message, we will send one final confirmation message and will not send you further SMS unless you opt back in.

[email protected]6. Carriers and deliveryWe send SMS through RingCentral, our business communications provider. Delivery of SMS depends on your mobile carrier; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The participating carriers include but are not limited to all major Canadian carriers (Bell, Rogers, Telus, Freedom, and their resellers) and major U.S. carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their resellers) for any international numbers you provide.
7. Your responsibilitiesYou agree to:
- Provide only your own mobile phone number, or a number you are authorized to receive SMS at on behalf of your business
- Notify us promptly if you change your mobile number or no longer wish to receive SMS at the number you provided
- Not use our SMS channel to send unlawful, abusive, or harassing content
8. No mobile information sharingThe mobile information (including your phone number and SMS consent) you provide to Laser Sharks will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your information only with service providers acting on our behalf (such as RingCentral, our SMS provider) or as required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these SMS TermsWe may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or email to recent contacts, and the "Last Updated" date above will reflect the change.
